Some games were able to display in window but not full-screen, so it's worth trying that as well. Metal games in particular seem to want to only display half-screen, but for games that can run either Metal or Open GL, Open GL works well. I have no idea if they worked right before Catalina or not. Tabletop Simulator and a few others technically work, but the graphics are hosed. I didn't find any others that needed a manual install, though at least one (Raven Remastered) needed an extra symlink because it tried to launch an executable by the wrong name. I suspect that may be what's happening with the slow start too (API timeout).įor Endless Space 2 and Endless Legend, you need to show local files then manually run the Mono installer in the game root directory after performing the Steam install. There were a couple that had issues instantiating the Steam API, but navigating straight to the executable via Show Finder worked. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Editionįor the most part, the games I found were compatible just worked, though some took a very long time to start the first time. Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball (failed to launch) Paranautical Activity: Deluxe Atonement Edition The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles The Raven Remastered (launches wrong filename, needs symlink to actual file) Defender’s Quest: Valley of the ForgottenĮndless Legend (requires install of Mono under “show in finder”)Įndless Space 2 (requires install of Mono under “show in finder”)
